The team require an experienced social worker to oversee SGO support and transition from connected carers to Special Guardianship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and supervision to family and friends foster carers to assist them in providing excellent care to children
- Assess and provide training/development opportunities to kinship carers
- Prepare high quality, accurate and through reports for a variety of purposes- LADO consultations, planning meetings, childrens reviews, fostering and adoption panels
- Carry out annual review of Fostering Families
- Be placed on the SGO duty rota and respond to emergencies
- Ensure children in care are safeguarded and relevant procedures are follow if an allegation or concern is raised
- Ensure that childrens care and development needs are met by their carers
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Experience: 1-3 years working within a similar team, with a strong track record in completing Form F's, SGOs, and connected persons assessments.
- A Diploma or Degree in Social Work.
- Must be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
